Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):
|
|
Q: I just received your e-mail about an upcoming seminar. I have never done one of these before. How does it work?
A: You are able to dial-into our toll free digital teleconference and, where available, obtain CLE and MCLE credits entirely from the convenience of your home, office, or car. In addition, the Rossdale CLE Center is the only national CLE provider that will forward you a complimentary recording of the seminar if you are unable to attend the live teleconference. That way, you can register for the live seminar and you will always ensure that you can listen to the program, obtain CLE credit (where available), and receive complete course materials even if you cannot attend the live program. CLE & MCLE credit for participation in recorded programs varies across jurisdictions. Questions regarding applicable continuing legal education ("CLE") and minimum continuing legal education ("MCLE") credit may be found under the details for the individual program or may be submitted to support@RossdaleCLE.com. Listening codes are provided and tracking is available on both live telephonic and on-demand programs to assist with jurisdictions that require listening code/tracking reporting.
Q: Do I need to let you know now if I will not be able to attend the live seminar and would like to receive the complimentary recording?
A: Not at all. If you are unable to attend the live seminar for any reason, our system will automatically e-mail you a complete recording of the seminar, course materials, and information to obtain CLE credit within 2 business days of the seminar.
Q: I am not technologically savvy. How will I be able to listen to the complimentary recording?
A: If you are unable to dial into the seminar for any reason, you will receive an e-mail 2 business days after the live broadcast with a link to the secure seminar page. You simply press the link and the recording begins playing on your computer. You may listen at your convenience by pausing and listening in as many intervals as you wish. You may also save the file to your computer or visit the seminar page in months from now. We always support our products and you may call us in months from now to listen to a program for which you register today.
Q: I like the idea of the complimentary recording. Can you tell me that works?
A: The complimentary recording is sent out automatically to all registered attendees who are unable to dial into the live teleconference. If you dial into the live teleconference, the system will not forward the recording to you. If you prefer to listen and learn from the convenience of a recording of the seminar rather than dialing into the live teleconference, you may want to register for the seminar now, and simply not call into the live program. That way, you will receive the recording. Alternatively, some attorneys order a CD of the seminar and materials to listen in the car.
Q: What is the fee to obtain the CD? I saw on the website that you can order a 3 CD-set along with the seminar.
A: As a convenience, we offer the entire seminar on a 3-CD set. Because most of our seminars are about 90 minutes in length, you receive 2 CD's of the seminar (the first half on one CD and the second half on the other) as well as a third CD containing all of the materials. The $59 fee covers the 3 CD's, shipping, and handling. However, you do not need to purchase the 3-CD set. It is simply an additional service that we offer.
Q: Can I simply register to obtain a CD?
A: Unfortunately, you need to first register for the seminar. That way, you will receive the course materials, CLE credit (where available), and have immediate access to the seminar (for 24/7on-demand recordings & podcasts) or be able to dial into the seminar live (for the upcoming live telephonic program).
Q: I am interested in registering for a program that is marked as an "early bird discount." Do you know what the regular price is and how long the early bird discount will be valid?
A: The early bird discounted price for the seminar is $129.00, which is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for a limited time. If you are interested in listening to the program, receiving CLE credit, and obtaining course materials, we advise you to register now at the early bird discount. If you are unable to attend the live telephonic seminar for any reason, you will automatically receive a complimentary downloadable recording of the seminar or a podcast. That way you may receive CLE credit (where available), obtain course materials, and be able to listen to the recording at the early bird price.
Q: Is there a fee for mailing in a check?
A: Not at all. As soon as your check is processed, you will receive access to course materials, information to obtain CLE credit, toll-free dial-in instructions (for live seminars) or immediate access to the recording (for the 24/7 instant downloadable recordings).
Q: What is the mailing address to send a check to your office?
A: The Rossdale Group, LLC
1172 S. Dixie Highway
Suite 225
Miami, FL 33146
Q: Can I dial into a live seminar after it has started?
A: Yes, a registered attendee may dial into the seminar up to 10 minutes before the program begins and anytime during the seminar. Participants seeking full CLE/MCLE credit (where available) must participate in the entire seminar. Questions regarding applicable continuing legal education ("CLE") and minimum continuing legal education ("MCLE") credit may be found under the details for the individual program or may be submitted to support@RossdaleCLE.com.
Q: If I register for an upcoming live telephonic seminar, when do I receive the course materials?
A: As soon as you register for a seminar, you receive immediate access to the course materials. Most of the materials are already available for posted upcoming live telephonic seminars. And we post the materials as soon as we receive them from our speakers. Also, as a registered attendee, you will have access to the complete course and reference materials weeks or months into the future if you lose your copy.
Q: How do I obtain course materials?
A: When you register for a seminar, you receive immediate access to the materials. You may download them and save them on your computer. Also, as a registered attendee, you may call us weeks or months in the future and we will always make the materials available, even if you lose your set.
Q: How long do I have to register for an upcoming live telephonic seminar?
A: You can register for the seminar up to the point that the program begins, assuming that the seminar has not sold-out. But you may lose out on the early bird discounted pricing. The Rossdale Group is the only national CLE provider that e-mails you a complimentary downloadable recording of the seminar or podcast if you are unable to dial into the seminar for any reason. Therefore you won't lose your money.
Q: I registered for a live telephonic seminar and have not yet received the complimentary downloadable recording and podcast. Can you send it?
A: The complimentary downloadable recordings and podcasts are generally e-mailed out on the Friday afternoon following a live broadcast before or at 6 PM (EST). Your e-mail server may have rejected the message as spam. To overcome that problem, please e-mail CLE@RossdaleCLE.com with the name of the registered attendee, the name of the seminar, and the e-mail address to receive the complimentary link.
Q: Is there a special price for multiple attorneys in the same office who register for a seminar?
A: Yes, each additional participant from the same office, organization, or agency may register at the discounted rate of $99.00 per person. Please be sure to include the attorney's complete name and bar number during the registration so it can be included on the audit sheet to the bar.
